Neil Patrick Harris to Teach at Bway Theatre Project 7/12

Golden Globe-nominee and star of CBS's "How I Met Your Mother," Neil Patrick Harris, joins Broadway luminaries Christopher D'Amboise, Lisa Jolley, and Jed Bernstein in teaching at at Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa, Week One.

Harris' master class is on July 12th.

"In 1988 at age 15, Neil Patrick Harris received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance opposite Whoopi Goldberg in the drama 'Clara's Heart.' The following year, he landed the leading role as a teenage surgeon on ABC's 'Doogie Howser, M.D.' He was nominated again for a Golden Globe for his work on the show, which ran for four seasons. Harris' Broadway experience includes roles such as: Hal in Proof, the Emcee in Cabaret, and Lee Harvey Oswald/Balladeer in Assassins. He has also appeared in supporting roles on the big screen in such films as Starship Troopers, The Next Best Thing and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. He recently starred opposite Tony Shalhoub in the NBC sitcom 'Stark Raving Mad.' He is currently receiving critical acclaim for playing the role of the womanizing Barney Stinson in CBS's 'How I Met Your Mother,'" state press notes.
