Neighborhood Chefs and Restaurants Descend On Madison Square Park

Celebrate Mad. Sq. Chefs, the highly anticipated annual gathering of beloved restaurants, well-respected chefs, and artisanal drink purveyors from the neighborhoods surrounding Madison Square Park, will be held on Tuesday, July 18th from 5:30-8:30pm in Madison Square Park with the entrance at 24th Street and Madison Avenue.

Hosted by Madison Square Park Conservancy, guests will enjoy a range of delectable dishes and refreshing beverages all while enjoying the Park's one-of-a-kind atmosphere consisting of historic buildings, lush trees, vibrant gardens, and Mad. Sq. Art's current exhibition, Josiah McElheny's Prismatic Park.

Since the inaugural Celebrate Flatiron Chefs in 2005, guests have grown accustomed to the excellent mix of neighborhood mainstays and fresh new talent. This year's 33 participating restaurants and their Chefs include abc cocina (Ian Coogan), abc kitchen (Ian Coogan), Almond (Alex Nieto), Atla (Enrique Olvera, Daniela Soto-Innes), Black Barn (John Doherty, Matteo Bergamini), Blue Smoke (Jean-Paul Bourgeois), Bo's (Nikhil Khosla), Boqueria (Marc Vidal), The Cannibal Beer and Butcher (Ed Carew), Cosme (Enrique Olvera, Daniela Soto-Innes), Eataly (Fitz Tallon), El Rey (Nicholas Morgenstern), Gramercy Tavern (Miro Uskokovic), Hanjan (Hooni Kim), Hill Country Barbecue Market and Hill Country Chicken (Ash Fulk), ilili (Philippe Massoud), Italienne (Anup Jared Sippel), Junoon (Akshay Bhardwaj), L&W Oyster Co. (Jason Weiner, Juan Juarez), Latin Beet (Jaime A. Torres, Felipe Torres), The Little Beet Table (Adam Starowicz), Massoni (Dale Talde) Maysville (Kyle Knall), The NoMad (Daniel Humm, Mark Welker), Obicà (Alvaro Santos Rivas), Raymi (Jaime A. Torres, Felipe Torres), Scarpetta (Jorge Espinoza), Shake Shack, The Smith (Brian Ellis), Sugarfish (Kazunori Nozawa, Tom Nozawa), Tacombi (Jason DeBriere), and Union Square Café (Carmen Quagliata).

Notable beverage participants include a 'liquor row' consisting of Four Roses Bourbon, Angostura Caribbean Rum, Barrow's Intense Ginger Liqueur, Black Bottle, Climax Moonshine, Greenhook Ginsmiths, Kikori Whiskey, More Good, Ripe Bar Juice, Tito's Vodka, as well as wine from Long Island Wine Country and The Drop Wine, and craft beers from Brooklyn Brewery and Rockaway Brewing Co. Non-alcoholic options include GuS - Grown-up Soda, and water stations throughout the event.

Tickets are $350 for early admission at 5:30pm, or $200 for general entry at 6:30pm and can be purchased at madisonsquarepark.org or by calling 212.520.7599. All proceeds will go toward the Conservancy's free programming, horticulture, park maintenance, and security.
