Downtown star Neal Medlyn will perform at Brooklyn's Galapagos Art Space in a series of duets with performers such as Adrienne Truscott (The Wau Wau Sisters) and Kenny Mellman (Kiki & Herb) in Superstar Duets throughout the month of March.

On March 3rd, he will perform with Lionel Richie "in a new, even bigger version of The Lionel Richie Opera," with Dynasty Handbag on March 10th as they "pass the mic, presenting alternate takes on what's actually happening," with Vids on March 17th "in a work of dance and feeling," with Adrienne Truscott on March 24th, "performing as a band named Get Modern On Me, playing very modern and original music and waiting to be sacrificed," and with Kenny Mellman on March 31st in the premiere of The R. Kelly Musical.

"Five unique evenings of in-your-face entertainment riffing on R. Kelly, H20, gender, lookin' for beats and monsters. And blood!," promise press notes. "Medlyn is a NY based performer who sings, runs amok and changes his clothes, but he's also written horoscopes, go-go danced and appeared in downtown films."  His solos have been seen at PS 122, Fez, the Knitting Factory, the Culture Project, and other venues. He toured the U.S. this summer, performing at T:BA:05 Festival in Portland and headlined an installment of the Late Night Cabaret with Murray Hill at the Philly Fringe Festival. He co-starred with Karen Finley in George and Martha in NY and on tour. He was elected Mr. Lower East Side in 2004 and "has been referred to as the Paris Hilton of Performance Art."

"The OBIE Award-winning Galapagos Art Space, located at the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, proudly presents the premier season of EVOLVE, a new theater series curated by Artistic Director Travis Chamberlain, featuring the best of New York's groundbreaking theater artists. Every month EVOLVE presents a new production in Galapagos' newly reopened back room, spotlighting work by theater and multi-media artists who challenge the boundaries of traditional form and content. Inspired by the Williamsburg community and its reputation for bold grassroots artistic independence, EVOLVE champions a unique rock n' roll financial and promotional philosophy, presenting cutting edge live art with self-contained production values."
