Naughton, Robbins and More to Join Abraham and Craig in Mail Order Bride Reading, March 27

Keira Naughton, Linda Powell, Jana Robbins, and Susan Louise O'Connor will round out the cast of The Mail Order Bride, a one-night-only performance of Charles L. Mee's new comedy that will benefit Resonance Ensemble's 2006 season. The Mail Order Bride will be presented on Monday, March 27 with a 6:00pm reception and a 7:30pm performance at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan.

Naughton (The Rivals, Indoor/Outdoor), Powell (On Golden Pond), Robbins (The Tale of the Allergist's Wife) and O'Connor (Indoor/Outdoor) will join previously-announced stars F. Murray Abraham
(Oscar-winner for Amadeus, on Broadway in Triumph of Love, Angels in America and more) and Deborah S. Craig (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), as well as Kelly Aucoin (Julius Caesar), John Cariani (Fiddler on the Roof), Matthew Cowles (Sweet Bird of Youth), Jennifer Mudge (Reckless). 

The Mail Order Bride
involves an older man (Abraham) who orders up a young Asian bride (Craig) much to the outrage of his family and friends.  The reading will be directed by Resonance Ensemble Artistic Director Eric Parness. 

Multi-award winning playwright Charles L.
