WHAT Spend an afternoon under the blue whale in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life discovering what scientists know about some of the largest creatures on the Earth-living and extinct-and the kinds of adaptations huge creatures need to thrive. Learn how scientists study these animals through observations in the field and the use of new technologies in the lab.

Held in conjunction with the Museum's major new exhibition The World's Largest Dinosaurs, the event features an appearance by TV host and zoologist Jarod Miller, who will be accompanied by a menagerie of extra-large animals, including a reticulated python, mandrill, jaguar, and Eagle Owl.

The Milstein Science Series, a weekend series proudly sponsored by the Paul and Irma Milstein Family, presents afternoon programs that give visitors a chance to interact with scientists, discover amazing creatures, and celebrate science under the Museum's iconic blue whale.
