National Theatre Live Broadcasts DV8 Physical Theatre's JOHN Today

Celebrating its 5th year bringing live theatre to cinema audiences around the world, NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE will present the broadcast of DV8 Physical Theatre's JOHN, a work conceived and directed by Lloyd Newson, live from the National Theatre's Lyttelton Theatre to cinemas internationally today, December 9, 2014. This powerful new verbatim work by DV8 Physical Theatre follows the extraordinary life story of one man. John. After years of crime, drug use and struggling to survive, John's desire for a new life leads him to a place unknown by most. Based on frank interviews conducted by DV8's Artistic Director, Lloyd Newson, JOHN combines spoken word with movement to create a touching and poignant theatrical experience.
