National Dance Week Celebration Held at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater In NYC, 6/12

Saturday June 12 is National Dance Week. National Dance Week celebrates the joy of dance and movement in the 5 boroughs of New York. The event will take place at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater located at 405 West 55th St. at 9th Avenue in New York City. For tickets go to www.ndw-nyc.org.

 

1-2pm - Film Screening

2-3pm - Cocktail Reception

3pm - Dance Performance

Performers include:

ABAKUA Afro-Latin Dance Company
Ballet Noir
Bollywood Axion
Creative Outlet
Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company

This evening's proceeds will benefit Luis Salgado's non profit, 'R.Evolucion Latina.' For three years, 'R.Evolucion Latina' continues to rally the NY Artistic Community and provide free classes, workshops, Broadway events and educational programs to children and adults interested in the arts.
