Bare star Natalie Joy Johnson will perform at Ars Nova on Friday, October 13th at 8 PM.

"In an unforgettable collection of pop, rock, R&B, musical theater and even some country, phenomenal up-and-coming music sensation Natalie Joy Johnson, along with the Pink Champagne Orchestra and the beautiful Bubblies, brings her incredible voice and intoxicating charm to the Ars Nova stage.  Featuring music ranging from Reba McEntire and Van Morrison to Jerry Herman and the original songs from musical director Our Lady J, the evening will leave you absolutely speechless," state notes on the show, which will be directed by Ben Rimalower (Joy).

Johnson, who recently performed in North Shore's production of Cinderella, received acclaim for her breakout Off-Broadway debut as Nadia in Bare: A Pop Opera. Other recent roles include the NY Musical Theatre Festival's hit production of But I'm a Cheerleader (Sinead), Move It and It's Yours, Joy (Kegan), Slut (Mrs. Winterbottom), and the 2001 National Touring production of Godspell (cast recording available on DRG Records). Earlier this year, Johnson collaborated with Adam Fleming and Jonah Speidel on their Feinstein's at the Regency debut - "Postponed Indefinitely." She has been a featured soloist in various concerts and benefits around Manhattan, including such venues as Birdland, the Palace Theatre, the New Amsterdam Theatre and the Iridium Jazz Club.

Tickets are available $15 at www.arsnovanyc.com and www.smarttix.com.
