In the cold hard light of day, after the saccharine high has worn off, it's easy to find yourself once again thinking, "What did Cupid do to me?" Well, the Naked Girls are here for you. Join New York's "Best Story Hour" (The Village Voice Best of NY) as Naked Girls Reading NYC presents the Valentines' Day Hangover: in-the-buff readings of love and lust, without the hearts-and-flowers.
Host Nasty Canasta is joined by Velocity Chyaldd, Jenny C'est Quoi and Evelyn Vinyl, as the Naked Girls share stories of how love really is - silly and sexy, naughty and sublime - at Naked Girls Reading NYC's Valentines' Day Hangover. It's the perfect treat for the Valentine who's still there once the chocolates and champagne are all gone.
Naked Girls Reading NYC is the perfect intimate live event: a monthly nude literary salon featuring in-the-buff readings by local burlesque luminaries, professional librarians, authors and other Naked Girls. Past themes have included Banned Books, Science Fiction and Tween Lit, as well as their annual holiday presentation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Guests to the salon are invited to sip a drink and listen with their eyes wide open as full-frontal literature meets fine art in the intimate theatrical setting of Under St. Marks.Videos
