NYPhil announces songs for Bway's Greatest Showstoppers

The New York Philharmonic announces the complete program for Broadway's Greatest Showstoppers conducted and Hosted by Marvin Hamlisch on Tuesday, May 20th and featuring Kristin Chenoweth and Raul Esparza.


Kristin Chenoweth and Raúl Esparza will be joined by Bass-Baritone Michel Bell and Tenor J. Mark McVey.

The New York Philharmonic will perform a collection of favorite songs from the theater such as "There's No Business Like Show Business" from Annie Get Your Gun; "Old Man River" from Show Boat; "Bring Him Home" from Les Misérables; "Oh What a
Circus" from Evita; the Soliloquy from Carousel; "Being Alive" from Company; and selections from A Chorus Line in Broadway's Greatest Showstoppers, conducted and hosted by multi-award-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch, Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at
7:30 p.m. Previously announced Broadway stars Kristin Chenoweth and Raúl Esparza will be joined by bass-baritone Michel Bell and tenor J. Mark McVey. All but Ms. Chenoweth will be making their New York Philharmonic debuts.

Single tickets are $29 to $99. Limited availability. All tickets may be purchased online at nyphil.org or by calling (212) 875-5656, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily. Tickets may also be purchased at the Avery Fisher Hall Box Office, Lincoln Center, Broadway at 65th
Street. The Box Office opens at 10:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and at noon on Sunday. On performance evenings, the Box Office closes one-half hour after performance time; other evenings it closes at 6:00 p.m.
