The New York Musical Theatre Festival, in association with Sharon Fallon, Daniel Wallace and Trish Whitehurst, proudly announce the U.S. premiere of Grant Olding's acclaimed London musical Three Sides, which will be presented as part of the third annual New York Musical Theatre Festival.

Directed by Clive Paget and featuring an all-British cast, Three Sides will begin performances on Thursday, September 21 at the 45th Street Theatre (354 West 45th Street, off of 9th Avenue).

"A hot new stage import from England with a hip, contemporary score by Grant Olding, Three Sides is a contemporary love story that tells of three people sharing one relationship.  After a depressing New Year's Eve, a chance meeting leads Carrie to get involved with both Anthony and Brian.  When both men realize they are in love with her, and she cannot choose between them, the simplest things get very complicated," according to press materials.

Three Sides will star Jon-Paul Hevey as Anthony, Mark McGee as Brian and Caroline Sheen as Carrie. The production will feature lighting design by Jeff Croiter and sound design by Marcus Karlstad.

Grant Olding wrote the first draft of Three Sides during his residency at London's Bridewell Theatre. The piece received three workshops, with the most recent two under the direction of Clive Paget.

Songs from the musical have been performed in various concerts and cabarets throughout the U.K. and the West End, and the show was produced at the Shaw Theatre in 2005. The creative team expanded when book writer Toby Davies came onboard in 2006. Earlier this year, Three Sides performed an engagement at the U.K.'s Finborough Theatre.

The performance schedule is as follows: Thursday, September 21 at 8 p.m., Friday, September 22 at 1 p.m., Friday, September 22 at 7 p.m., Saturday, September 23 at 8 p.m., Sunday, September 24 at 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 27 at 1 p.m., and Saturday, September 30 at 4:30 p.m.

Beginning September 1, 2006, individual tickets are available online at www.NYMF.org or by calling 212-352-3101.  Tickets are $20 each. Advance booking is available to NYMF members exclusively from August 1, 2006. For additional information, visit www.grantolding.com
