The New York Musical Festival and Hypokrit Theatre Company present Eh Dah? Questions for my Father, a new solo musical by Egyptian-American performing artist Aya Aziz.

Eh Dah? - Questions for my Father will play a limited engagement at the June Havoc Theatre (312 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018) as part of The New York Musical Theatre Festival. Performances are tonight, July 19th at 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 20th at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 23rd at 9:00 pm, Sunday, July 24th at 9:00 pm, and Thursday, July 28th at 9:00 pm.

"Ghetto-Hippie-Arab-Commie-China Doll" Aya was shaped by the eclectic community of New York City. But Aya's father, an Egyptian-American world-traveler, remained a mystery, as did her Muslim family. In this solo musical, Aya enacts the world she came from and the family she went in search of. With a range of accents, voices, and zany characters, Aya's story deals with contemporary conflicts - identity, the culture war, Islamophobia, all while asking Eh Dah - what is this?!

Sameer Garg is the general manager, and Kyle Rosenberg (Broadway's upcoming Monsoon Wedding) is the technical director and production stage manager. Produced by Arpita Mukherjee (Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Hypokrit Theatre Company) and Shubhra Prakash (co-founder of Hypokrit Theatre Company). Brinda Dixit is the artistic associate. Press representation by Kampfire PR.

Individual tickets are $29.50 (includes $2.00 facility fee), NYMF Passes are also available. For more information, visit www.nymf.org or go to nymf.org/ehdah. The June Havoc Theatre is located at 312 W 36th Suite 1, NY, NY 10018.
