The provocative upcoming musical White Noise announced new casting for its New York Musical Theater Festival production this September. Playing determined older sister Eva will be Libby Winters (ABC's "Champs"); younger sister Blanche will be played by newcomer Christina Calph. Winters and Calph will replace the previously announced Kacie Sheik and Whitney Bashor, who departed the show yesterday to pursue other opportunities.
Also joining the cast will be Phillip Taratula as the father of the two girls, currently featured in the Fringe Festival hit
The Deepest Play Ever. The casting change comes on the heels of network television coverage of White Noise on both "Good Morning America" and "ABC Primetime" which aired Tuesday, August 22, and featured footage from the May reading of the show, which Sheik and Bashor starred in. Director
Ryan J. Davis said today, "We hate to see Whitney and Kacie go, but we're also thrilled about Libby and Christina. We're eager to see what the new cast is going to bring to the show. We wish Kacie and Whitney the best of luck for the future."

"An adorable pair of sisters, Blanche and Eva, lead the teen band White Noise, mixing irresistible harmonies with white power rhetoric and taking the nation by storm. Their message of racial purity resonates with young people across America and the rise of White Noise coincides with a rise in the white supremacist movement which threatens to engulf the country, as Blanche and Eva prove themselves to be masters of the most terrifying and unstoppable form of Fascism in today's culture: Top Forty pop."
