Fifth Annual Girls and Women in Sports Day

DETAILS: Activities will include soccer and zumba classes from Asphalt Green, track & field lead by NY Road Runners, and a ballet program by Alvin Ailey Extension. PowerPlay NYC will lead self-esteem and empowerment workshops. In addition, kids can join the Recreation Center staff in a hip hop dance class, arts & crafts, a scavenger hunt, and raffles. The closing ceremony will feature performances by the East 54th Street Dancers and the Pink Diamonds Step team from Staten Island.
