Levy, along with a rotating cast of over 40 improvisors (trained at the PIT, Upright Citizens Brigade, Magnet and Annoyance) will take a single suggestion from the audience and proceed to build an entirely improvised show lasting over half-a-day, on September 13th, from 11am straight through until midnight. "I have always wanted to do really really long-form improv," says Levy, show creator. "We had a huge opportunity from the PIT to do a 12-Hour set back in April. It was really so much fun and was one heck of a whirlwind adventure at a 'measly' 12 hours and so when the PIT gave us this incredible opportunity, we had to jump at it."
The new PIT Loft theater, formerly The Treehouse Theater, under the direction of the People's Improv Theater is located on West 29th Street in Chelsea.
"I've recruited several talented and funny friends to hop on stage with me to make sure this one is not just bigger but an even better show than the one in April. It's truly an epic journey of a show that pays off to people who watch the whole show." While the show will go on for 13-Hours, audience members are not required to stay and watch the entire time. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy for any length of time they wish at any point in the show.
