New York based Choreographer Shea Sullivan announced today that she choreographed the newly crowned Miss America's talent routine to JAmes Brown's Get Up Off Of That Thing for competition. Mallory Hytes Hagan, Miss America 2013, became the second tap dancer to ever be crowned Miss America in the pageant's 92-year history.

Sullivan, an award-winning film, television and theater choreographer for the last 17 years, also choreographed the talent routines for Alicia Clifton (Miss Oklahoma, Miss America Preliminary Talent Award Winner and 2nd Runner Up for Miss America 2013) and Laura McKeeman (Miss Florida and Top 16 semi-finalist for Miss America 2013.) Clifton performed a tap dance routine to Can't Buy Me Love and McKeeman performed a ballet en pointe routine to La Esmeralda.

"Mallory Hagan was awesome to work with," Sullivan said. "I took great joy in challenging her because I knew she would rise up to the challenge. She did just that and more. I could not be more proud."

A past contestant in the Miss Oklahoma pageant herself, Sullivan completely understands what it takes to compete for and win the talent competition. She prides herself in not only improving the style and technique of the contestants, but also working a great deal with each contestant on their confidence in all areas of competition. Other past success stories include Caitlin Brunnell, Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2007, Sierra Minott, Miss Florida 2008 and 4th runner-up to Miss America 2009 as well as more than 50 other state titleholders in the Miss America and Miss America's Outstanding Teen competition.
