Today, February 10 is New York City's Children Take to the Parks Days. Celebrate the snow day by visiting a variety of neighborhood parks for some winter fun.

White-capped hills around the city are open for sledding, snowman-making and more. Parks & Recreation will provide sleds and hot chocolate at selected locations across the city.

Participating Parks Include:

Bronx- Crotona Park
Fulton Avenue and East 172nd Street
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Brooklyn- Prospect Park
Near the Tennis House at Prospect Park West and 9th Street
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Manhattan- Riverside Park
Riverside Drive at 103rd Street
11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Queens- Juniper Valley Park
78th Street and Juniper Valley North
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Staten Island- Clove Lakes Park
Martling and Slosson Avenues
12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m
