NY Post's Riedel to Appear at 'Talk Radio' Talkback

Eric Bogosian's Talk Radio, which began its current run at the Longacre Theatre on Thursday, February 15, 2007 and was recently nominated for the Tony, Outer Critics Circle, Drama League and Drama Desk award for Outstanding Revival of a Play, is continuing its series of post-show talkbacks with New York Post theater columnist and Theater Talk (WNET/Ch. Thirteen) co-host Michael Riedel. Riedel will appear onstage with Talk Radio's cast members at the Longacre Theater following the 8PM show on May 17th.

Previously featured guests in the series include Air America's Rachel Maddow, 92.3 Free FM's "RadioChick" Leslie Gold, WOR's Dr. Joy Browne, David Richardson, and Bob Grant, WABC's Ron Kuby, Phil Boyce, Warner Wolf, and George Weber, The Village Voice's Michael Musto, and the Rev. Al Sharpton.

Talk Radio star Liev Schreiber (films Scream, The Hurricane) has been nominated for his performance as Barry Champlain by the Tony Awards, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Drama League. Co-starring in Talk Radio are Stephanie March ("Law and Order: SVU"), Peter Hermann (United 93), Michael Laurence (The Rainmaker at Arena Stage) and Sebastian Stan (The Covenant). The show also features Christine Pedi, Christ Pusz, Barbara Rosenblat, Marc Thompson, Adam Seitz, Kit Williamson and Cornell Womack.

The production is directed by Robert Falls, who is celebrating his twentieth year at the helm of the Goodman Theatre in Chicago.  His recent Broadway credits include Shining City, Long Day's Journey Into Night and Death of a Salesman, for which he won a Tony Award. The design team for Talk Radio is Mark Wendland (Sets), Laura Bauer (Costumes), Christopher Akerlind (Lighting), and Richard Woodbury (Sound).
