Theater and fashion will share the spotlight for a special one-night only Broadway-themed fashion collection at this season's New York Couture Fashion Week. The collection will take place on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at The New Yorker Hotel in Manhattan.
Couture Fashion Week, the premiere couture fashion event in New York City since 2003, will Honor the Great White Way. The audience will be treated to live Broadway musical performances and dance routines during Andres Aquino, fashion designer and Couture Fashion Week producer's newest collection. The exclusive after party will also feature an array of New York theater's best talent singing from the Broadway songbook as well as current pop hits. A portion of the proceeds will benefit BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE a non-for-profit charitable organization that brings together Broadway talent, activists and celebrities to promote LGBT equality. All the talent participating are affiliated with Broadway Sings for Pride.
