Joey Fatone, a former member of the NSYNC, recently appeared on HuffPost Live. When asked about Backstreet Boys' recent touring gig, Fatone stated, "I feel like they just need the money. No offense, guys. But I'm saying if you think about it, it's like, why are you coming back out again?" He then went on to say that NSYNC won't be having a reunion tour anytime soon because they have their own lives that they're busy with.

After hearing this statement, Nick Carter, Backstreet Boys member and recently married, was deeply upset. He tweeted three times:
"Just disappointed, I really liked joey..."
"I'm proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully its about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro but you have us all wrong."
"Now let me go back to enjoying my Honeymoon."
Back in the '90s, the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC were rival bands- as both were boy bands and appealed to the same demographic. Since NSYNC ended, Fatone has developed a versatile and cross-generational range of talents both on and off the small screen. Currently hosting My Family Recipe Rocks!, Fatone can also be found hosting the Las Vegas and Atlantic City versions of Price is Right Live and Let's Make a Deal. Fatone's television credits include The Singing Bee, Dancing with the Stars, JoJo's Circus, Higglytown Heroes and Hannah Montana. He has also starred in the Broadway musicals Little Shop of Horrors and Rent.
