NORMAL's Hunton, Daniel et al. Set for 'Anything Goes with Marti' Benefit, 11/7

Nightlife performer, Marti Gould Cummings will host his weekly benefit, "Anything Goes with Marti," Sunday, November 7 at 9pm, at Manhattan's chic new gay spot on the East Side, Vig27.

"Anything Goes with Marti," Cumming's variety show, benefits a different charity or organization each week, with each week showcasing something different. Sunday's show will be host to a Pre-Album Release Concert for up and coming composer, Joey Contreras and his new album 'Love me, Love me Not.'

Cummings and Contreras will be joined by the talents of Emma Hunton (Next to Normal, Spring Awakening), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening), Brad Greer (Naked Boys Singing), Gabriel Violett (Spring Awakening) and more.

Having performed concerts at The Duplex, Joe's Pub, and the Laurie Beechman, Joey Contreras is a new musical theatre composer-lyricist. His song-cycle, "This Thing Called Love," was workshopped with Philly Music Theatre Works in 2009 and is currently in development. He is also working on the coming of age musical, Wallflower.

His new album Love me, Love me Not: The Music of Joey Contreras, a pop/musical theatre crossover record features performances of some of the hottest and most exciting Broadway talent including, Lilli Cooper, Kyle Dean Massey, Blake Daniel, Morgan Karr, Natalie Weiss and more. The album will be digitally released starting November 9 on selected online stores, with larger distribution to follow in the coming months.

Vig27 is located at 119 East 27th Street. The event is free, 1/2 price speciality cocktails at the bar and donations for the organization will be made from the bar, and will be discussed throughout the evening?s show.
