Two of Broadway's up-and-coming stars, Jennifer Damiano and Adam Chanler-Berat, will take their turn in the spotlight at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street, NYC / Between East 4th and Astor Place) on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 as part of Sh-K-Boom & Ghostlight Records' ongoing concert series. The pair currently star as Natalie and Henry in the Tony-winning musical Next to Normal at Broadway's Booth Theatre. The 9:30pm concert will feature the young talents sharing their musical inspirations through duets and solo performances of some of the songs that made them fall in love with music.
Jennifer made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Spring Awakening at age 15 and went on to receive a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Next to Normal. She reprises her role from the Second Stage premiere as well as the Arena Stage production, which also earned her a Helen Hayes nomination. Adam made his Broadway debut with Next to Normal after originating the role at Second Stage and DC's Arena Stage. Other credits include A Civil War Christmas, Calvin Berger, Dani Girl, Mae West at Club El Fae, Honk, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Lord of the Flies.
