Do you relate to your character, Natalie, is any way?
When I first auditioned, I was 16 and I was very much against my parents. so it was cool because Natalie is also very independent person-she's had to take care of herself for most of her life.

Jennifer Damiano reprises her role from the Second Stage premiere as well as the Arena Stage production, which earned her a Helen Hayes nomination. Jennifer made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Spring Awakening at age 15. Regional: Oliver! (WBT), Inner Voices: Solo Musicals (Zipper Factory). Next to Normal received 3 Tony Awards on June 7, including Best Score, Best Orchestrations, and Best Actress in a Musical.

With over 30 original songs, the Original Broadway Cast Recording was released digitally on April 7 and in-store on May 12. The album was recorded in New York City on February 11th & 12th, with Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records President Kurt Deutsch, Joel Moss and David Stone producing, and Tom Kitt Co-Producing. Both Deutsch and Moss are Grammy Award winners.

With a thrilling contemporary score, Next to Normal is an emotional powerhouse of a musical about a family trying to take care of themselves and each other. Next to Normal features music by Tom Kitt, book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey, and direction by Michael Greif.
