NEXT: Now Entering the Crossroads of Theatre will present the songs of Becca Anderson and Brandon James Gwinn, Wednesday, February 29th at 9:30pm at The Duplex (61 Christopher St @ 7th Ave).

Tickets are $10 with a reservation ($12 at the door) plus a 2 drink minimum.

Featuring MARGARET-ELLEN JEFFREYS (Annie National Tour), ALICIA KRAKAUER, JENNI LAWTON (CAP 21’s The Daughters), COLLIN LEYDON (I Got Fired, NYMF), JOSEPHINE SPADA, SEAN STEPHENS, RYAN VANDENBOOM, and MATHIEU WHITMAN (Pinkalicious the Musical) with Brad Gardner on the piano and Jeremy Yaddaw on drums.

BECCA ANDERSON is a lyricist, playwright and actor residing in New York City. Her songs have been performed at Lincoln Center, Merkin Hall, NYU, Bards College at Simons Rock, TaDa!, the D-Lounge, the Sharon Tri-Arts Playhouse, The Duplex, Barrington Stage, and, of course, YouTube. She is the co-author of the musicals Hatter, Eau Blanche!, and Period Piece and the author of the short plays "The Interview" and "Over-Ripe”. www.whynotbecca.com

BRANDON JAMES GWINN is an NYC-based writer hailing from Nashville, TN. Previous credits include music for Underwear: A Space Musical, Hatter, The Happy Prince, If These Stalls Could Talk, and Speargrove Presents. Brandon is a popular performer and accompanist for multiple acts in NYC, a regular at Our Hit Parade at Joe's Pub, and can sometimes be found behind the piano at the legendary piano bar Marie's Crisis. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University Theatre & Dance, McLean School of Music, and has a Master's Degree from the Grad Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU. NEXT: Now Entering the Crossroads of Theatre is a concert series dedicated to helping talented new artists meet and collaborate with the most promising emerging songwriters.
