Seth Meyers and Jason Sudeikis from Saturday Night Live, Pete Grosz from The Colbert Report, and Jordan Peele from MadTV will appear as part of BOOM CHICAGO: ALL STARS, a special one night only show from the critically acclaimed Dutch-based comedy troop Boom Chicago, on Sunday, September 13th at 8:30 p.m. on Governors Island. The ALL STARS show promises a mix of fast-paced long and short form improvisation. The high energy comedy show will involve the current cast and the famous alumni and suggestions from the audience. Get ready for a comedy roller coaster! Meyers, Sudeikis, Grosz and Peele lived in Amsterdam and are former members of the Boom Chicago company.

The New Island Festival will provide many theatrical shows, art installations and music acts that can be enjoyed by people of all ages on New York's Governors Island from September 10-13 and again from September 17-20. The festival will kick off the fall with provocative theatre, stunning site specific performance, dazzling visual arts and exhilarating DJ sets, performed by world class Dutch performers. More than 150 artists will perform during the festival. Governors Island is easily accessible via a FREE and very short ferry ride.
The New Island Festival is part of NY400, which celebrates the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage from Amsterdam to New York Harbor, and commemorates 400 years of enduring friendship between the Netherlands and the United States.

To experience the full range of theatrical productions and events at the New Island Festival, it is recommended that patrons purchase a $35 all-access one-day Passport. When you arrive on Governors Island and pick up your Passport at the Festival box office on the "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", you'll have a chance to choose from a wide variety of shows taking place at the Festival that day. With your Passport, tickets to nearly everything are FREE and will be provided by the box office exclusively to Passport holders on a same-day, first-come, first-served basis until one hour prior to showtime.
