The winners of the 2016 NAACP IMAGE AWARDS in the non-televised categories were announced last night at a dinner at the Pasadena Conference Center. The event was hosted by Affion Crockett and Nischelle Turner.
Among the winners announced last evening was NBC's THE WIZ LIVE in the category of Outstanding Television Movie, Mini-Series, or Dramatic Special. In addition, David Alan Grier, who portrayed 'The Lion' in the live musical production, picked up an award for Outstanding Actor in a Television Movie, Mini- Series, or Dramatic Special
