It's homicide for the holidays when WILDCAT THEATRICALS presents a special staged reading of the classic Broadway comedy MY THREE ANGELS by Sam and Bella Spewack, Sun-Tue Dec 5, 6, & 7 @ 7pm at the Producer's Club Sonnet Theatre.

MY THREE ANGELS unfolds in 1910 French Guiana, a region where on Christmas Day the temperature has graciously dropped to 104 degrees. Three convicts are employed as roofers by the Ducotel family. On the way from France is an evil-minded cousin, to oust the father of the family from his business, and his cold-blooded nephew, who is jilting the father's daughter for an heiress. The three convicts-two of them murderers, the third a swindler-take the visitors on. All three have warm hearts and are passionate believers in true justice. Using their array of criminal arts, they try to set matters right for the family. This delightful play is a perfect respite from the commercialization of holiday time.

MY THREE ANGELS, directed by Andrew Glant-Linden, is the inaugural production of WILDCAT THEATRICALS, a new theatre company dedicated to showcasing up and coming actors in staged readings of rediscovered classics from Broadway's golden age. The cast includes: Gretchen Garvin*, David Murray Jaffe, John Kinsella*, Ian Pfister*, Jeff Pierce*, Lisa Riegel*, Morgan Sills*, Ben Strothmann, David Tillistrand*, and Cara Vander Wiel (*member AEA).

Sam and Bella Spewack, authors of the Broadway hits BOY MEETS GIRL and KISS ME KATE collaborated on MY THREE ANGELS, a free adaptation of Albert Husson's LA CUISINE DES ANGES. Originally directed by Jose Ferrer, MY THREE ANGELS opened at the Morosco Theatre on March 11, 1953 and played 344 performances. The cast included Walter Slezak and Darren McGavin. Paramount Pictures produced a 1955 film adaptation (in Technicolor and VistaVision!) of the original French play entitled WE'RE NO ANGELS with Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov, Aldo Ray, Joan Bennett, and Basil Rathbone.

Seating is limited in the intimate Producer's Club Sonnet Theatre (358 W 44 St), conveniently located in the heart of the Theatre District. Purchasing your tickets in advance is recommended. Tickets for MY THREE ANGELS may be purchased online ($15/each) at www.smarttix.com or by calling 212 868 4444. Three performances only: Sun-Tue Dec 5, 6, & 7 @ 7pm at the Producer's Club Sonnet Theatre. MY THREE ANGELS is an Equity Approved Showcase. Visit our website: www.mythreeangels.com.
