Facing the loss of his beloved wife, Martha, Dr. Howard Hart dives into the floodwaters amidst the City's chaos to free her and the City from the devil, Boss, and his soul-stealing underwater club, the Gumbo Pot. GUMBO is a vibrant take on the Orpheus/Eurydice tale that explores the mythos of Hurricane Katrina through the heart and music of the Crescent City.
GUMBO was previously presented at MTF's 4x15 workshop series in winter 2015.
GUMBO takes place on August 24 & 25 at 8pm at 250 W. 40th St., 4th Floor.
$12 advance reservations can be made online at mtf.nyc/events.
