Musical Theater Intensive For Teens

Polaris Productions, a NYC youth theater company, is offering a three-week musical theater intensive for performers ages 12 - 18. This is a full production of CHICAGO: TEEN EDITION, which is the high school edition of the Broadway musical Chicago. The program runs from June 28 through July 17th. Rehearsals are Monday through Friday from 10 am until 5 pm at Sunlight Studios, NYC. Tech week begins July 11th, with six matinee and evening performances at Theatre 71, July 14 through 17. Performers of all levels of experience are welcome. We have musical theater students from the NYC performing arts high schools, as well as kids wanting to experience -- for the first time -- what it's like to be in a musical theater production. Kids work hard, develop their skills, have fun, and form enduring friendships. Cast sizes are small (under 20) to give each performer more opportunity to grow.
