Musical Mondays presents 3 new musicals in development on Monday, November 19 at 6:30PM and on Monday, December 10 at 6:30PM at The Snapple Theatre Center (210 West 50th Street at Broadway).   For tickets ($10) call 212 989-6706 or musicalmondays@aol.com

A double bill sampler of two new Musical Comedies currently in development at the BMI Workshop include:

Monday, November 19 at 6:30PM
PINOCCHIO OF CHELSEA
music by Mark Janas, book and lyrics by Peter Napolitano
Reinvents the classic children's novel as a contemporary urban fantasy about a wooden teenager searching for a world where he truly belongs.

The cast includes Marcie Henderson (The People vs. Mona) as The Blues Fairy, Broadway veteran Andy Gale (Side Show, Rags) as Gepetto and Ricky Ashley (World Premiere of Jason Robert Brown's 13 at the Mark Taper Forum) as Pinocchio. Robert Bartley (Family Fiorelli, NYMF, Broadway Backwards I & II) directs.

THE MASKED ZINFANDEL
music by Peter Yarin, Book and Lyrics by Justin Warner
In the faraway, quasi-medieval kingdom of Helvetica, young Sam the Shoemaker replaces the town's hottest masked hero/outlaw/celebrity.

The cast includes Craig Fols (Musical of Musicals, the Musical) Ray Bokhour (Chicago) and Amy Zelcer (American Musical Project; "Harvard Idol" winner) Nancy Robillard (Culture Project, Luna Stage, Walnut Street Theatre) directs.

Total running time, approximately 60 minutes

IN LIVING COLOR

Music by Fred Thaler (last season's Easy City), Book and Lyrics by Robert Yarnall
Back to the Future meets "Leave it To Beaver" when two teenagers find themselves in the 1950's.
