The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and United Rain Productions present the world premiere of In The Night. Screening will take place tonight, July 21st at 7 and 9 PM at St Clements Theatre 423 West 46th Street, New York, New York 10036.
A musical film about finding the courage to live your dream, In The Night follows Jane, a playwright with one night left to write a new script. It is already past midnight when she finally gets an idea - a cast of actors, abandoned by their director. Driven by fear of unemployment and misery, the actors decide to create a show of their own. Slowly, they grow empowered as they realize the potential their show has to tell the stories they've always longed to reveal. But everyone, as it turns out, has their price. As the clock ticks for Jane and her characters, she realizes that her characters aren't the only ones who have some tough decisions to face.
Cast includes Eric Dysart (“30 Rock”, Broadway: Hairspray (original cast), A Chorus Line); Michiko Sasaki (Radio City Rockettes, Broadway/First National Tour of 42nd Street, “Fresh Beat Band,” “White Collar”); Corey Wright (Chicago national & international tours, NYMF verteran with ENCORE!); Nicole Dionne (Leading Ladies, The Broken Hearts Club, Boston Flamenco Ballet); Sara Brophy (Damn Yankees national tour); Heather Gault, Bryana Servedio, and Andrew Start.
