According to TV Line, a musical-themed episode may be in the works for the popular ABC drama ONCE UPON A TIME. The special installment may air as early as this spring. The fairy tale-themed series features some of Disney's most beloved characters from such classics as Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Peter Pan. Back in 2015, series co-creator Eddy Kitsis teased "It would be great to do a musical episode, [but] I don't know even know where to begin."
In 2011, ONCE star Jennifer Morrison revealed to E! Online which of her co-stars had the chops to partake in a musical episode. "Josh Dallas, Ginny Goodwin, me.... I don't know if Robert Carlyle sings; he probably does." she shared, adding, "I feel like we have a lot of musically inclined people in the cast. We'll see!"
ONCE UPON A TIME returns with all-new episodes of its sixth season on Sunday, March 5.
"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O'Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Sean Maguire as Robin Hood, Rebecca Mader as Wicked Witch/Zelena and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
