Movement in C proudly presents Appetizer - An Evening of Sampling on June, 28th & June 29th, 2013, 8:00pm (doors open @ 7:30pm) at The Brooklyn Music School, 126 Saint Felix Street btw Hanson Pl. & Lafayette Ave Tickets are $10 @ www.brooklynmusicschool.org. $20 at the door. 50% of ticket sales go to benefit the Brooklyn Music School.

Appetizer: An Evening of Sampling, the second annual choreographer's festival hosted by Movement in C lends itself to finding the love of dance. With 10 choreographers and two nights, in an original Brooklyn theater, an intimate affair with dance begins. Through a basis of modern and contemporary dance laughter is evoked, tears arise, and personality with an abundance of originality is presented. It's simply about the art and performing. It's an experience to see such talent take the stage and deliver. As subjective as it can be, dance can appeal to all. Let these choreographers and dancers capture you with their infusions.

Movement in C is a collaborative organization that seeks to inspire individuals from all walks of life. Dance being the primary source of inspiration while utilizing other mediums to push the boundaries of our visions, including but not limited to writing, visual and digital media, music and beyond. Dance being at the center, a fusion of different dance disciplines and often spoken word and/or playwriting is brought to the audience for a unique experience. Home of both CV Projects and Salma Allam Dance Theater, the base company is dedicated to exploring the limitless possibilities of the performing arts.
