The Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden presents America's Seed Houses: The D. Landreth Seed Company and the Story of America's Great Seedhouses on Thursday, April 22nd at 6:30 PM. A talk that traces the history of the American seed trade and its traditions, America's Seed Houses explains how the seed industry leaders helped to build a nation. Visitors will learn about the relevance of fruit, vegetable and plant seed in our day-to-day lives and explore the fascinating world of horticulture.

General admission to America's Seed Houses is $10 for the public and FREE for Museum members. Reservations are recommended and can be made at (212) 838-6878. The Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden is located at 421 East 61st Street between York and First Avenues. Nearest subway: N, W, R, 4, 5, 6 at the 59th Street/Lexington station.
