Mos Def and Colin Hanks to Guest Star on DEXTER

According to the Hollywood Reporter, stage veterans Colin Hanks and Mos Def are set to guest star in season six of Showtime's 'Dexter.' As described by THR Mos Def will play 'a hardened ex-con who claims to have found religion yet seems to continually find himself surrounded by violence.' Hanks will star as 'Travis, Dexter's main nemesis and a highly intelligent ancient artifacts expert who is linked to a series of grisly murders in Miami.'

Hanks starred alongside Jane Fonda in the Moises Kaufman's Broadway play 33 Variations. Mos Def played the role of Booth in Suzan-Lori Parks' Topdog/Underdog in 2002. He and co-star Jeffrey Wright won a Special Award from the Outer Critics Circle Award for their joint performance.

Dexter is an American television drama series that centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a bloodstain pattern analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department who moonlights as a serial killer.
The show debuted on October 1, 2006, on Showtime and the fifth season ended on December 12, 2010.
