Morton, Lavin, Grimes, Etc. to Play Metropolitan Room

Maurice Hines, Andrew Lippa, Jason Danieley, Euan Morton, Tammy Grimes and Linda Lavin are among the performers who will play the Metropolitan Room (34 W. 22nd St.) in upcoming months.

Hines (Hot Feet, Sophisticated Ladies, Eubie!) will perform "An Evening with Maurice Hines" on February 16-17 at 10:30 PM and February 18 at 9:30 PM.  Lippa (The Wild Party) will bring, as previously announced, "Andrew Lippa, Asphalt Beach and Assorted Divas" to the cabaret venue on February 26th at 9:30 PM. 

On March 11th and 19th, Danieley (Curtains, The Full Monty) will perform his new show.  Tony Award-nominee Morton (Brundibar, Taboo) will return to the cabaret venue on the Sundays of April 15, April 22, May 6 and May 13.  Tony Award-winner Grimes (42nd Street, High Spirits) is set to perform on April 4th and 5th, as well as on April 12th.  Tony Award-winner Lavin (Tale of the Allergist's Wife, Gypsy, Broadway Bound) will present her act from May 4th through 7th.

Other upcoming events include concerts by Lennie Watts, Michael Amante, and Marilyn Maye. 

The Metropolitan Club is currently presenting Baby Jane Dexter (through February 24th) and Eric Comstock (through February 26th).
