The Morris Museum is pleased to announce the opening of its newest exhibition, "Follow the Thread." On view through May 1, 2016, the show features textiles from the nineteenth century to the present day that utilize thread to create artful designs.

"Follow the Thread" brings together more than seventy-five works from the collection of the Morris Museum. Visitors will delight in intricately patterned purses and carrying sacs, colorful hand woven pieces for clothing and bedding, and a selection of looms. While the exhibition focuses primarily on traditional textiles, an impressive collection of Native American beadwork and Latin American objects is also featured.

In conjunction with "Follow the Thread," the Morris Museum will host the following public program. Further program information can be found at www.morrismuseum.org or by calling 973.971.3706.
