Morgan Reynolds in "Twirl Queen."

Today, Morgan Reynolds (who recently charmed audiences as the Scarecrow in the 2nd National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE WIZARD OF OZ) turns 30! As a birthday present from him to the world, he has released a music video for his latest single "Twirl Queen," a campy and catchy holiday pop song that is sure to bring a smile to your face.

"A month ago I started feeling the helplessness post-election blues as well as the classic 'I'm turning 30' panic attack," says Reynolds. "After wallowing in those feelings for a week or two, I came to the realization that I could stay that way or rise to the occasion. Using my 30th year, twirling to the literal 'beat of my own drum' but telling all the self-doubt, the oppression, and the haters of this world that 'if you cannot celebrate who you are - or myself for that matter - then get off my lawn!"

These feelings led to the creation of "Twirl Queen." The tune is filled-to-overflowing with joy and cheer, and the icing on the cake is RuPaul's Drag Race alum Alyssa Edwards as a guest star. Also, the lighthearted imagery is bright, flashy, and deliciously tacky (in the best of ways). But, most importantly, the video shares one of life's most important messages with its viewers. "I want to send the message into the world that no matter who you are you have every right to twirl 'because what I do with MY life is none of your damn business,'" says Reynolds.

Using 40 rolls of wrapping paper and good lighting, Reynolds made the video featuring Britney Santoro, Cody Craven, Charis Vaughn, Danny Hammond, Greg Kalafatas, Jacob Chancellor, Jillian Hoffman, Justine Lewis, Kathleen McGrath, MaKenzie Belnap, Michael D'Elia and Rachel Peterson.
