Julianne Moore and Bill Nighy, stars of David Hare's new play The Vertical Hour, will make national television appearances this week.
Recent Golden Globe winner Nighy will appear nationally on "The Charlie Rose Show" on Thursday, January 25, airing in New York City on Thirteen / WNET New York at 11:00 p.m. Moore will appear nationally on "Live with Regis & Kelly" on Friday, January 26, airing in New York City on WABC Channel 7 at 10:00 a.m.
"The first David Hare play ever to premiere on Broadway, The Vertical Hour tells the story of a Nadia Blye (Moore) - an acclaimed American television journalist and academic - who travels abroad and finds herself caught in an emotionally charged romantic triangle, pulled between the affections of her lover (Andrew Scott) and lover's father (Nighy)," as press notes describe the show.
Directed by Sam Mendes, the show plays at the Music Box Theatre (239 W 45th St). Tickets are available through Telecharge: (212) 239-6200 or www.telecharge.com or by visiting the theatre box office. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $96.25 and $76.25. Premium seating is available.
