The Moonlight Cultural Foundation (MCF) announces the promotion of Jennifer Bradford to the position of Executive Director effective January 1, 2019. Bradford is a seven-year employee of the Foundation and for the past eighteen months has served as Director of Operations and Outreach. The Foundation, founded in 1974, is the 501 (c)(3) non-profit fundraising arm of the City of Vista's Moonlight Stage Productions entering its 39th season in 2019.

A native San Diegan, Bradford has lived in Vista since 1990. She joined the Moonlight Cultural Foundation (MCF) in 2011 and over time has served in various administrative positions. Bradford attended Point Loma Nazarene University and has continued her education through the USD Nonprofit Management Certificate program. Jennifer and her husband of 25 years, Michael, have three sons: Drew, Jake, and Josh. Her connection to the Moonlight began long before becoming a member of the MCF staff. Her favorite family memories involve summers at the amphitheater where her sons developed their love for the arts and the foundation for their careers as performers today.

"Over the past 18 months, Jennifer has been our guiding hand in keeping the forward momentum of the Foundation going strong," said MCF President Jeff Pashby. "We did not need to look far to fill the position of Executive Director. She has been our principal liaison with the City of Vista working with the Moonlight Stage Productions staff in year-round fundraising, special events, donor relations, and sponsorships. Jennifer has also overseen and facilitated operations involving Moonlight Youth Theatre and the Moonlight Angels, our auxiliary committee. Every component of the Foundation has been guided by Jennifer and we look forward to continuing to working with her in her new position."

The Moonlight Cultural Foundation was founded in 1974 as the Vista Foundation with the sole purpose of raising funds for the construction of the original amphitheatre stage in Brengle Terrace Park as a gift to the City of Vista for the bicentennial in 1976.Over the course of four decades, the Foundation has grown to be an integral partner with the City of Vista raising critical financial support for the programs of Moonlight Stage Productions at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. The Foundation raises funds from private and corporate donors in support of MSP. Additionally, MCF supports the programs of Moonlight Youth Theatre which provides theatre production and educational experiences to young people.

Moonlight Stage Productions produces Broadway quality musical theatre at the Moonlight Amphitheatre June through September. Its 39th summer season includes "The Producers" (June 12 - 29, 2019), "Matilda The Musical" (July 17 - August 3, 2019), "West Side Story" (August 14 - 31, 2019), and "Victor/Victoria" (September 11 - 28, 2019). Outside of the summer season, the Moonlight Amphitheatre produces concerts, cabaret performances, and family events making the outdoor venue a year-round entertainment destination.
