Comic Molly Brenner, who is a regular performer on UCB's mainstage, brings her new comedic solo show, Molly Brenner Is Not Coming to The Tank in June. The limited run plays Monday, June 18 at 7 pm, Tuesday, June 19 at 9:30 pm, and Wednesday, June 20 at 7 pm.
Molly Brenner has reached age 28 without ever having an org*sm. How? Hint: Yes, she has tried a vibrator. Through storytelling and original characters, Molly takes you through her anticlimactic life story, in which she and numerous partners have tried to make the big "O" happen. From learning about sex as a child to learning she didn't know anything about sex as an adult. Did you think semen was invisible? Did you think masturbation was invented in 2003? One woman's not-coming-of-age story.
Molly Brenner Is Not Coming, premiered at the SoloCom Festival at The PIT and has been performed for sold-out crowds around New York City. Sydnee Washington (The UnOfficial Expert Podcast) opens the show on June 18 & 20, Kate Willett (Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival) opens on June 19.
Tickets are $7 in advance - www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3414631 and $10 at the door. Performances take place at The Tank, 312 West 36th Street (between 8th & 9th avenues), 4th Floor, New York, New York 10018. Subways: 1, 2, 3, 7, A, C, E, N, R, Q, W to 34th Street. Running time: 60 minutes.
