The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is pleased to announce the continuation of our celebrated BROADWAY DOWNTOWN series when Lauren Molina, currently starring as Johanna in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, presents a one night only concert event on Monday, May 22nd at 7pm. Lauren's special guests include: Michael Cerveris and Manoel Felciano (from Sweeney Todd), as well as Nick Cearley, Ray Fellman, Natalie Ross and Michelle Ricci.

There is a $20 cover charge, as well as a two-drink minimum. No one under 21 will be permitted, and credit cards are accepted. The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher St., in the heart of New York's West Village. For reservations, please call 212.255.5438.

Broadway Downtown, now its second year, is an acclaimed series of The Duplex Cabaret Theatre, featuring one-night-only concerts from some of our favorite Broadway performers. Past participants have included Judy Blazer (Titanic), Kristy Cates (Wicked), Darius DeHaas (Rent), Barrett Foa (Avenue Q), Trent Armand Kendall (Into the Woods), Michael Longoria (Jersey Boys), Karen Mason (Mamma Mia!), Sally Mayes (Steel Magnolias), Christiane Noll (Jekyll and Hyde), Anne Runolfsson (The Phantom of the Opera), Kate Shindle (Jekyll and Hyde), Marty Thomas (Wicked) and Barbara Walsh (Hairspray).

Lauren Molina is currently starring as Johanna in the 2005 hit Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd. Off-Broadway credits include, Henry, Sweet Henry (The York), Meet Me in St. Louis and Just So Stories (National Tour, Theatreworks/USA). Other credits include Sarah Brightman's La Luna Tour, and Saving Anne (world premiere production in the lead role of Anne Frank). She has also performed in various workshops and master classes along with Broadway composers, colleagues and New York City Opera artists. Lauren is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a BFA in Musical Theatre, and has also studied at the Yale School of Drama, NYU's CAP 21 Summer Intensive Program and Northwestern University. Regional credits: Parade, Hamlet, Children of Eden and The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told. Lauren offers her talents for numerous charities, including Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, The Actor's Fund, Phyllis Newman's Women's Health Initiative, Toys for Tots and The Culture Project. She can also be found composing music on guitar and cello and singing on the cabaret circuit.
