Moda Operandi, the first online luxury retailer to provide consumers access to the full collections of top designers directly from the runway, announced a week of capsule collections comprised of exclusive product available only on Moda Operandi. The first of the trunkshows kicks off today with Michael Angel continuing with Stella Jean on August 13, M. De Phocas on August 15, Del Toro on August 16 and La Petite Caravane on August 17.

The capsule collections were developed in collaboration with Indre Rockefeller, Moda Operandi's Director of Ready-to-Wear, who spearheads the sourcing of new talent for the company. Moda Operandi's platform for emerging designers is designed to bring greater awareness and exposure to up-and-coming fashion designers.

"Being able to work alongside gifted designers to develop these capsule collections has been a humbling experience," said Moda Operandi Director of Ready-to-Wear Indre Rockefeller. "Our designer collaborations for these collections underscore Moda Operandi's commitment to enabling emerging designers to elevate their brand awareness around the world."

Michael Angel makes his return to fashion applying his custom-created prints and feminine silhouettes to his ready-to-wear for Moda Operandi. Stella Jean produces a playful collection of eye-catching patterns with her most beloved silhouettes of Moda Operandi customers. M. De Phocas makes the brand's first foray into women's pieces for Moda Operandi with a whimsical collection of enameled earrings, pins, rings, and charms. Footwear favorite Del Toro adds a collegiate touch to his personalized loafer slippers for men and women. Childrenswear designer La Petite Caravane brings Moda Operandi its first capsule collection for kids, "Transatlantique," inspired by the golden-era of steamship travel in the 1960s.

"Moda Operandi has been a tremendous partner and source of guidance throughout the entire course of creating this collection," said designer Michael Angel. "I adore the company's innovative approach to fashion, providing a stage for designers to showcase their work. It has been an invaluable experience."

Each of the capsule collection trunkshows will live on the site for a minimum of two weeks from the day of launch. All of the pieces produced by Michael Angel, Stella Jean, M. De Phocas, Del Toro and La Petite Caravane for the capsule collections were designed exclusively for Moda Operandi customers.
