The New York Times reports that Misty Copeland, who made history recently by being named the American Ballet Theater's first black female principal dancer, will now write a new book on health and fitness.
Titled "Ballerina Body," the book has been acquired by the Hachette imprint Grand Central Life & Style and will include "meal plans, exercise regimens and motivational advice for dancers and nondancers." The guide is set to be released in early 2017.
In a statement, Copeland commented, "This is the sum of a lifetime of experiences gained through listening to my body and finding what works for it."
