Miss Coney Island Headlines Gotham Burlesque Tonight

Tonight, June 1 at 10PM at STAGE 72, Gotham Burlesque will welcome Miss Coney Island BB HEART as the headliner for their second sizzling summer show.

Hosted by Sultry Soprano Shelly Watson, the June 1 cast will also feature Tassle Twirling Troubadours THE NYC BURLESQUE CHOIR, Hula Hoop Artist PINKIE SPECIAL, Neo-Burlesque Star NASTY CANASTA, The Feline Fatale of Burlesque DELYSIA LA CHATTE, Master Juggler Jen Slaw, FRANCINE "The Lucid Dream" and the "Twisted Beauty of Burlesque" DANGRRR DOLL.

Presented by award-winning filmmaker, artist, and producer Gary Beeber, GOTHAM BURLESQUE is an exciting evening of song, dance, tricks and visual treats that plays STAGE 72 each month with a different cast at the intimate Upper West Side venue, offering audiences a taste of a wide range of live entertainments from both established and up and coming performers and acts.

Gary Beeber is an award-winning American filmmaker whose documentaries Dirty Martini & the New Burlesque, Bally-Master, and Messenger have screened in over 50 festivals and won countless awards. Prior to devoting his energies to documentaries, he was a photographer and producer of art videos shown in 70 galleries and exhibitions worldwide, and several of his works are in corporate collections here in the city at Goldman Sachs, Pfizer Pharmaceutical and Chase.

GOTHAM BURLESQUE plays at STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street), with the June show taking place on Saturday, June 1 at 10pm.
