Tony Award Winning Creator and Star of "In the Heights" Lin-Manuel Miranda to Deliver Commencement Address at His Alma Mater Hunter College High School.
Lin-Manuel Miranda, who recently won Best Musical and Best Original Score at the 2008 Tony awards for "In The Heights," will be honored and deliver the commencement address at Hunter College High School, his alma mater, on Thursday, June 26, 5:00 p.m., Assembly Hall at Hunter College, 69th Street between Lexington and Park Avenues, Manhattan. Mr. Miranda will be available for photos at 4:30 p.m. down the hallway in Room 100. Miranda graduated from the prestigious school in 1998. Jennifer J. Raab, President of Hunter College, and
Scott Stringer, Manhattan Borough President, will lead the ceremony.
The 2008 graduating class of Hunter College High School has 196 students representing all five boroughs of New York.
