Tony Award-winning composer/lyricist/performer supreme Lin-Manuel Miranda joins with five fellow improv masters to make up Freestyle Love Supreme and the theatrically and comedically inspired collective bands together for a return engagement at NYC cabaret venue Joe's Pub tonight, August 7, for two special shows.
Comprised of Lin-Manuel Miranda alongside fellow actors and performers Anthony Veneziale, Chris Jackson, Arthur Lewis, Chris Sullivan and Bill Sherman, directed by Thomas Kail, what Freestyle Love Supreme presents is "a show like no other."
FLS is officially billed as such: "FLS is a stage show like no other. Five performers take the crowd on a non-stop hip hop improv ride, spinning cues from the audience into instantaneous riffs and fully realized musical numbers."
