Broadway/Hollywood icon and living legend Liza Minnelli recently participated in a special podcast in promotion of her various current and upcoming projects and took some time to comment on her peerless career, as well as her recent guest appearances on SMASH and Arrested Development and the likelihood of her receiving an Emmy nomination for either, or both.

First things first: SMASH. "It was lovely, wasn't it? I had such fun doing it, too," Minnelli says of the specialty song penned for her by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

As for the Netflix revival of ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT? "It's very exciting! It's such a good show. Everyone on it is just wonderful," Minnelli says of her time spent with the starry ensemble cast of the outlandish comedy series.

As for her character, Lucille Austero - aka Lucille 2 - herself - and, of course, her tragic vertigo? "It was sort of my idea!" Minnelli says of the Unforgettable character trait and how it came about in the first place.

In summation, of her ARRESTED excperience: "I just love comedy and I just love doing that. I am so happy that it is coming back," Minnelli says of the long-awaited reprise of the cancelled-by-FOX series, recently rescued by Netflix and with a newly shot Season Four now available.

And, what about awards? The EGOT recipient says, "The biggest thrill of winning - or, being recognized; which is really what it is about - is that the people around you who have worked so hard get recognized."

Before adding, "Because nobody does anything alone," Minnelli says magnanimously.

That's class - and, that's Liza!
