The Milk Can Theatre Company (ML Kinney and Bethany Larsen, Artistic Directors) will end it's 2011-2012 season with The Snap Shot Plays – a collection of seven ten-minute original plays all inspired from photographs – with performances set for May 8 through May 13 at Theatre 54 (244 West 54th Street, 12th Floor) in Manhattan. The Snap Shot Plays is an Equity approved showcase.

The Snap Shot Plays are comprised of Field Trip by Cheryl L. Davis, directed by Gwynn MacDonald; Missing Pieces by Megan McDavid, directed by Seth M. Gamble; Heaven Swing by ML Kinney, directed by Seth M. Gamble,: Up the Creek Without A Paddle by Riv Massey, directed by Tom Nondorf,: Jane and Bernie, Rochester by Lorraine Cink, directed by Dev Bondarin,;The Green by Jenny Bennett, directed by Dev Bondarin; and The Spirit of New Orleans by Bethany Larsen, directed by Tom Nondorf.

Each play was inspired by a photograph from seven photographers: Sarah Kalemkerian, Raymond Adams, Izik Mishan, PM Kinney, Sharon Light, Amanda Schultz and Phillip Nondorf.

Featuring performances by: Sarah Boatright, Dustin C. Burrell, Charles Hinshaw, Kathryn Holtkamp, David Kimball-Stanley, Grace Lowman, Aleks Malejs*, Dianna Martin, Ann Marie Morelli*, Jed Q. Peterson*, Alexis Saarela, Brooke Schlosser, Corey Triplett*, Cotton Wright* and Chris Wright. *Member AEA

Founded in the summer of 2003, The Milk Can Theatre Company is a collective of playwrights and directors who develop and produce new plays through readings, workshops, full productions and ten-minute play festivals.
