The new play A SOLDIER'S LOVER makes it world premiere at the Midtown International Theatre Festival on the Workshop Theater's stage (312 W. 36th St, New York, NY), March 7 - March 9.
A SOLDIER'S LOVER takes place today... and tomorrow as woman spends a year experiencing the reality of what it's like to love a soldier overseas while imagining what life will be like once he returns... if he returns.
A SOLDIER'S LOVER is written by Jacklyn Thrapp and directed by Heather Cole. The very talented cast includes Lesley Frey, Anthony Giordano and members from one of New York's funniest sketch comedy groups (Unisex) Jessica Ritacco, Jason Messina and Zach Garner.
"A SOLDIER'S LOVER explores when you should hold on to someone and when you should let go," writer Jacklyn Thrapp explains. "It has it's sad moments but while I was writing this I took a very comedic approach."
Tickets $20. You can purchase them here: www.midtownfestival.org.
